The caravan of Kashmir Affairs Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Communication Minister Murad Saeed was pelted with stones by rival party workers in Jhelum Valley of AJK, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Thursday.
The attackers blocked Srinagar Road after the guard of Gandapur resorts to firing to repulse them. The PTI convoy left the area safely but the charged workers refused to budge. The PTI leaders' caravan stopped over a point where their rival party workers were gathered for their election meeting.
The incident took place a day after Gandapur came under a shoe attack in Bagh area of AJK. The minister made a request to the police for releasing the attacker, saying the arrested might be paid for the act.
