Federal Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar has said the government succeeded in utilising Rs444 billion last year.

An increase in social sectors was made by 38 percent, he said, adding that health and education sectors got Rs14 and Rs35 billion respectively, and Rs50 billion was allocated for coronavirus relief.

The center wanted partnership with province to cope with the challenge of COVID -19. A total of Rs70 billion is allocated for COVID19 combat this year and the center allocated Rs60 billion for development in tribal areas.

“A plot is being concocted to create instability in tribal areas, but such a misadventure may cost the other parts dear,” he said adding that dollars were taken in the name of FATA.
