US dollar gains 51 paisas against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar roared ahead against the Pakistani rupee as it gained 51 paisas in the inter-bank trading on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After the fresh gain, the greenback is now being traded at Rs156.70 from Rs156.19.
According to the forex dealers, there has a demand for dollars in the inter-bank trading.

Banking expert Asad Rizvi said that a dip in the rupee value was expected before the end of the fiscal year. The dollar buying spree was apparently triggered over foreign payments, he added.
Rizvi said the dollar was at Rs168.05 on June 30, 2020 which later dropped as low as to Rs152.90 from where now it is three percent dearer.
