No political statement made: ISPR DG

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Babar Iftikhar has said he did not make any political statement yesterday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday.

Talking to a private TV channel, Major General Babar said he presented a version of the services chiefs as a spokesperson of the Pak Army.

The services chiefs made it clear in the NFC meeting that there was no conspiracy, he said, adding that the word conspiracy was not even included in the declaration, he said.

The ISPR DG said the new government has the power to form commissions and there is no objection to the formation of a judicial commission.

“We will cooperate with the government-appointed commission,” he said.
