Merub Ali shares BTS moments after breakup with Asim Azhar
Amid the breakup buzz, actress and model Merub Ali gave her fans and followers a glimpse into her current mood by sharing some light-hearted behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments.
In her Instagram post, Merub is seen on set, enjoying herself and singing out loud with joy.
Entertainment portal Galaxy Lollywood reshared her post with the caption: "Sometimes all you need is a jam session to APT!"
Just a few days ago, singer Asim Azhar stunned fans by announcing the end of his three-year engagement with Merub.
Taking to Instagram, he revealed that the couple had mutually and peacefully decided to part ways, asking for privacy and understanding during this sensitive time.
“After a great deal of thought and reflection, Merub & I have chosen to move forward on separate paths peacefully and mutually,” read his status.
He added, “While we shared meaningful moments and genuinely hoped for a future together, life sometimes takes its own course. We have the utmost respect for each other and the families involved, and always will.”
The once-celebrated couple also unfollowed each other on Instagram, further confirming the split.
Asim and Merub had gotten engaged in a private ceremony at home in March 2022, and news of their breakup left fans heartbroken.
Merub’s new BTS post, however, suggests she’s staying strong and embracing positivity in her own way.
As soon as the story made headlines, netizens flooded social media with memes, speculating and jokingly blaming actress Hania Aamir for the breakup.
