Four killed in suspected terrorist attack in Lakki Marwat

Four people were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire near the Jabarkhel area of Lakki Marwat, police said on Monday.

According to police officials, unknown suspects targeted the victims in a shooting incident, leaving four people dead on the spot. The deceased were residents of Jabarkhel and have been identified as Juma Khan, Adnan, Waseem and Nematullah.

Police said that preliminary investigations suggest the victims were killed by terrorists. Security forces and law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the attack and launched an investigation into the incident.

The bodies of the deceased were shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities, while efforts are underway to trace and apprehend those responsible for the killings.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive behind the attack. Further investigation is in progress.
