Pakistani comedian and veteran actress Hina Dilpazir has left fans inspired after sharing a thought provoking piece of poetry about life on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a picture of herself alongside a heartfelt caption featuring verses from a ghazal by renowned poet Muneer Niazi.
“Apne dil ke shauq ko had se zyada kar liya,
Jaante the dono hum is ko nibha sakte nahi,
Us ne vaada kar liya main ne bhi vaada kar liya,
Ghair se nafrat jo paali kharch khud par ho gayi,
Jitne hum the hum ne khud ko is se aadha kar liya,
Shaam ke rangon mein rakh kar saaf paani ka gilaas,
Aab-e-saada ko hareef-e-rang-e-baada kar liya,
Hijraton ka khauf tha ya pur-kashish kuhna maqam,
Kya tha jis ko hum ne khud deewaar-e-jaada kar liya,
Ek aisa shakhs banta ja raha hoon main Muneer,
Jis ne khud par band husn o jaam o baada kar liya.”
The ghazal reflects on human emotions, unfulfilled promises, and the consequences of holding on to pain and resentment. The verses offer a thoughtful perspective on self-reflection, personal growth, and the complexities of life.
The post quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom praised Hina for sharing such meaningful words and expressed their admiration in the comments section.
