Pakistan targets Badani Post in Chitral region, Afghan Taliban's support base in Kandahar

Pakistan’s armed forces carried out fresh cross-border airstrikes in Kandahar during the night between March 14 and 15 under Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, targeting militant infrastructure allegedly used by insurgent groups, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to security sources, the strikes destroyed a technical support facility and an equipment storage site believed to have been used by militants linked to the Afghan Taliban and groups described by authorities as Fitna al-Khawarij.

Sources said the targeted infrastructure was used by militants for operational and logistical support. The Pakistan Army later released video footage of the aerial strikes, showing the destruction of the facilities during the operation.

Security sources said the attacks successfully hit militant hideouts and related military installations associated with the Afghan Taliban and other militant groups operating in the area.

They added that operations under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq would continue until the intended objectives were achieved.

Pak Army destroys Afghan Taliban's Badani Post in Chitral

Separately, the Pakistan Army targeted the Badani post of the Afghan Taliban on the adjacent Pak-Afghan border in Chitral and the Badani post was completely destroyed using various ground weapons and quadcopters.

The Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij are facing a strong retreat on all fronts after their unprovoked aggression. Operation Ghadb lil-Haq is ongoing and will continue until its objectives are achieved.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday, the TV channel reported that Pakistan Army has released the video of its bombardment on Kandahar air field’s oil dump sites on the night between March 12 and March 13 as the Operation Ghazab Lil Haq against the militants hiding in Afghanistan and the Afghan Taliban continues.

Sources told the 24News TV channel that the Pakistan Army successfully carried out strikes on the oil storage sites and destroyed them.

They informed that the Afghan Taliban and militant groups were using these sites for carrying out attacks on Pakistan.

Sources went on to say that the Pakistan Army was effectively targeting the militant hideouts and the Afghan Taliban’s military installations, and these attacks would continue till the achievement of objectives.

Pakistan Army launched attacks on militant hideouts in Afghanistan and the Afghan Taliban after the latter failed to rein in the former despite requests by Pakistan.

According to data shared by Information Ministry, On night March 14/15 Pakistan Armed Forces targeted military installations including terrorist hideouts of Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij. In these attacks, Pakistan's forces also destroyed technical support infrastructure and equipment storage facility, in Kandahar, that was being used by Afghan Taliban and terrorists against innocent Pakistani civilians. 

A tunnel that housed technical equipment of Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij was also destroyed in Kandahar. Similarly, in Chitral Sector, a terrorist jump of point at Badini Post of Afghanistan was destroyed through ground forces. 

Attached video shows precision engagement by Pakistan on those installations and terrorist camps which directly / indirectly support terrorism from Afghan soil. No civilian population or infrastructure was targeted as falsely propagated by Afghan regime officials and media.
