100 booked after police post attacked in Dherki

A large number of miscreants attacked a police post in Dherki late at night opening fire on the post and damaging a mobile vehicle, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to details, the miscreants started firing at the main gate of the police post located in Reharki area.

During the retaliatory firing by the police, all the miscreants escaped from the scene. 

Later, the police filed a first information report (FIR) against more than 100 accused on behalf of the government. Twelve accused were nominated in the case.

A heavy contingent of police was who deployed in the area, launching a search operation to apprehend the accused.

The attack was triggered after a case was registered following a clash between two rival groups in the area.
