CM Buzdar distributes funds among opposition MPAs to enlist their support

Following the rise in political temperature in the province and sensing likely ‘uncertain’ political future, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has also swung into action as he has doled out huge amounts of money to three members of the provincial assembly belonging to the opposition from the District Development Package, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources have told 24News that the Punjab CM has given Rs260 million in funds to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA from PP-244 Bahawalnagar Muhammad Arshad, Rs360 million to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA from PP-255 Rahim Yar Khan Ghazanfar Ali Khan Langh and Rs350 million to Raees Nabeel Ahmad, PPP MPA from PP-265 Rahim Yar Khan.
Sources have further told this channel that CM Buzdar is also in touch with other MPAs belonging to the opposition in a bid to win them over.
