November 15, 2021 05:21 PM

Faisalabad utility stores have not been providing adequate amount of essential commodities for the last three consecutive days failing to meet the local demand, reported 24NewsHD TV on Monday.

The items of essential commodities like flour, ghee and pulses were not meeting the demand at utility stores.

Citizens said, they have been visiting utility stores for days, but were not getting basic food items. Also, questioned the establishment of utility stores when food items were not available on subsidised rates.

Shoppers argued that poor people come to the utility stores to buy cheap items as compared to general stores.

They urged government to take practical measures to ensure the provision of facilities for masses.
