Justice KK Agha takes oath as Federal Constitutional Court judge

Justice KK Agha has taken oath as judge of Federal Constitutional Court (FCC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

FCC Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan administered oath to Justice KK Agha on Saturday. FCC judges Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Ali Baqir Najafi attended the ceremony.

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sardar Sarfaraz Dogar and other judges were also present.

Islamabad High Court Bar Association President Wajid Gilani, Secretary Manzoor Jaja and others also attended the ceremony.

On Friday, three of the six FCC judges had taken oath of their office. Those who took oath were Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Ali Baqar Najfi.

Earlier, the notification for the appointment of six FCC judges was issued. According to the notification, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Aamir Farooq, Justice Ali Baqar Najfi, Justice Karim Khan Agha, Justice Rozi Khan and Justice Arshad Hussain Shah were appointed as FCC judges.

Justice Musarrat Hilali had declined to be a judge of the FCC.
