Shahzad Akbar asks three questions from Shehbaz Sharif
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Accountability and Interior Shahzad Akbar on Thursday said PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and his companions have no answers about their corruption charges, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a news conference, he alleged that the Opposition Leader in National Assembly and his aides used to commit corruption in the name of business and laundered over Rs22 billion by using the names of employees.
The adviser said that PML-N leaders used to carry out corruption in the name of business. They have laundered over Rs15 billion by using names of 12 employees, he said.
He asked Shehbaz Sharif about Masroor Anwar and Shoaib Qamar who were arrested over embezzlement charges. He also questioned the PML-N leader over the business of Sharif family and their four flats in London.
“It was Suleman Shahbaz who operated accounts of all employees. The NAB has also received another corruption reference.”
He also asked three questions from the PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif: whether he knows Masroor Anwar and Shoaib Qamar? Doesn’t he know who was crediting money in his accounts and who bought four flats in London?
Shahzad said that the government has collected solid evidence against Sharif family for committing corruption of billions of rupees. He added that a reference of assets worth Rs7 billion has been filed in NAB against the Sharif family and they will have nothing to say in defence.
Shahzad said that fake accounts were created and remittances were made in the name of low-paid employees while fake companies were also created in the name of employees and anonymous people.
