University girl attempts suicide over low marks

A girl student of Government College Women University (GCWU) on Wednesday attempted to commit suicide due to obtaining low marks in first year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A spokesman of the university said that 19-year-old Zainab jumped from the stairs to show her disappointment at obtaining low marks.

Soon after the incident, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted her to the Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital, where she is under treatment. Hospital sources said that the health condition of the student is stable.

Woman commits suicide in Faisalabad

A woman who was likely to marry on November 1, 2025 committed suicide for not go to the Bazar for shopping.

The incident took place in Chak No 537-BD. 

According to the details, the family members of the girl went to Jaranwala for shopping as the wedding of their son was set for November 1, 2025, but refused to take her shopping.

The deceased, who was identified as Asnia daughter of Ghafoor decided to shoot herself.

Later, police handed over her body to the heirs after completion of the necessary procedure.
