Efforts to cut sugar price underway: CM

 Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that efforts to bring the sugar price to Rs140 per kg are underway.

A meeting was held with sugar mill owners to reduce the commodity cost, the chief minister said while talking to the media after his visit to the Defence Morr Flyover project.

The chief minister said the Defence Morr project will be completed soon.

He said that efforts are afoot to reduce the crime rate in Lahore and it will be brought down.

The chief minister stressed he was working for journalists’ welfare too.  

“I am doing some work for the welfare of journalists,” he said, adding that he was aware of the challenges confronting the media personnel.
