Launching Ceremony of a Book Titled: "پروفیسر خالد مسعود گوندل کی کہانی، میری شاعری کی زبانی" 

A graceful launch ceremony at Fatima Jinnah Medical University was held for the Book on the life of Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, titled “پروفیسر خالد مسعود گوندل کی کہانی، میری شاعری کی زبانی". 
A distinguished figure of the medical profession and a renowned specialist of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Prof. Rashid Latif Khan, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
On this occasion, distinguished personalities from the medical profession, faculty members, postgraduates and undergraduates also participated. 
Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah, Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Prof. Mahmood Ayaz, Prof. Aamer Zaman Khan, Prof. Shamsa Humayun, Prof. Munazza Iqbal, Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Principal Prof. Abdul Hameed, Prof. Noreen Akmal, Prof. Aisha Malik, Prof. Asghar Naqi, Prof. Ghulam Mustafa Arain, Prof. Kamran Khalid Cheema, Prof. Imran Aslam, Prof. Balquis Shabbir, Prof. Nawaz Rasheed, Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Prof. Ijaz Hussain, Prof. Ahsan Nauman, Prof. Muhammad Moin, Prof. Yar Muhammad, and Dr. Afzal Alam were also amongst the participants.
The author and poet of the book, Dr. Kashif Bashir, Head of Paediatric Surgery Department at KEMU/ Mayo Hospital said that Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal is my teacher and role model. I wrote this book, inspired by his leadership, love for the medical profession, and wisdom.
Principal Prof. Abdul Hameed in his welcome address said that we have not seen the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, but we can see his reflection in Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal’s dress and leadership qualities.
 Prof. Aamer Zaman Khan said that this is not just a book, it is a priceless gift of love and intellectual insight that a student has presented to his teacher. He said that Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal has played an important role in giving Pakistan’s medical educational institutions a prominent position at National and International Levels.
During his address, Prof. Mahmood Ayaz said that the book is a combination of two beautiful things—one is the dignified personality of Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, and the other is Dr. Kashif Bashir’s love for his teacher. He further said that a Muslim’s life should be according to the principles set by the Almighty Allah; Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal is the best example of this.
Federal Tax Ombudsman and class fellow of Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah expressed that Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal has countless qualities. He showed people the path of knowledge and wisdom and always remained at the forefront in serving ailing humanity. He is a great leader of the medical Profession in the country as well as abroad.
Prof. Shamsa Humayun expressed her views, paid rich tribute to Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, and presented a beautiful poem in his honor.
The Chief Guest, Prof. Rashid Latif Khan, offered special congratulations to Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal on this memorable day. He said that this book has unique qualities. The credit for this success and honor goes to the parents of Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, who gave such good upbringing to their son. Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal is a person of character, honesty, hard work, strong nerves, and love for religion. He is not only the moving spirit of modern medicine but also an exceptional leader and a beacon for generations to come. He has added great value to College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). Under his leadership, CPSP has achieved countless milestones at National and International Levels. CPSP residents are getting training in the best medical institutions of the world, and it is noteworthy that now examinations of several medical specialties are also being held in UK and Ireland under the supervision of CPSP. He prayed that under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal and his team, CPSP continues to progress by leaps and bounds.
In his address, Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal thanked all the distinguished guests, faculty members, and the author of the book, Dr. Kashif Bashir, from the depth of his heart. He said that first of all, I am grateful to Allah Almighty, and it is our good fortune that we are the followers of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. Parents are the means to bring us from the sky to the earth, and teachers are the means to take us from the earth to the sky. He dedicated today’s achievement to the prayers of his parents and teachers, and to his family and all friends. The message of today is along with the absolute obedience of Allah Taala, we should also take special care of the rights of people, and live our lives in such a way that there is a welcoming state in the life Hereafter.
In the end, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal presented honorary shields to the Chief Guest Prof. Rashid Latif Khan and the distinguished guests & the author of the book, Dr. Kashif Bashir, presented his book “پروفیسر خالد مسعود گوندل کی کہانی، میری شاعری کی زبانی" to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal.
