Minor girl raped, murdered in Sadiqabad

A minor girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Sadiqabad tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

An unknown man brought a 10-year-old girl to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital on Sunday and then fled. Doctors found the girl dead. Her post-mortem examination at the hospital revealed that she was raped before she was murdered.

According to the medical report, the 10-year-old girl, Nisha, was subjected to torture, which resulted in fractures to her skull bone and jaws.

In the CCTV footage, the unidentified man can be seen entering the hospital’s emergency ward carrying Nisha in his arms. After leaving her on the bed, the man left the hospital. Police have traced the man who brought the girl to the hospital.

The girl had been living in a rented house in Ahmedpur Lama with Khawar, a resident of the Awami Colony, for two months. The girl's family has yet to be traced.

Police have refused to give any official statement on the matter.
