Taking notice of the complaint of recruitments of ASIs in the anti-corruption department in violation of the rules, the Sindh High Court (SHC) in Karachi Friday sought from the department high-ups their record, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Barrister Faizan Memon, counsel for the petitioner, on the occasion told the court that the Sindh Services Tribunal had declared these recruitments illegal.
It has been alleged in the petition that the anti-corruption department had inducted ASIs in 2011 by bypassing the rules and that these inductions were later declared illegal by the Sindh Services Tribunal.
The petitioner’s lawyer further told the court that the Supreme Court, too, had ordered legal action in the case.
