Shehbaz, Imran condemn Israeli raid on Al Aqsa Mosque

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the raid carried out by the Israeli forces on Al Aqsa Mosque and escalation of violence by the Jewish authorities in complete violation of human rights and humanitarian laws while asking the international community to protect lives of innocent Palestinians, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

On his twitter handle, Shehbaz on Saturday wrote: “Condemnable raid on Al-Aqsa Mosque & escalation of violence by Israel in gross violation of HR & humanitarian laws. We stand in solidarity with the Palestinians. Time for international community to protect innocent Palestinian lives, and uphold international law & UN Charter.”

On Friday, former prime minister Imran Khan also condemned the brutal attack by Israeli forces on Al Aqsa Mosque during Friday prayers in the month of Ramazan saying that Muslims across the world are deeply hurt by this aggression by the Israeli occupation forces. 

He tweeted: “Strongly condemn the attack by Israeli occupation forces on Al Aqsa mosque during Friday prayers in month of Ramazan. Al Aqsa mosque is the third holiest site for Muslims & today Muslims across the world feel this hurt deeply.
