CM directs to issue NOCs of all new petrol pumps in Punjab till May 1 

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Sunday ordered the concerned authorities to issue the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for opening new petrol pumps in the province by May 01, 2023.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Punjab CM made this historic decision to reduce unemployment and encourage investors.
He directed the officials that all the long-pending NOCs of petrol pumps should be issued till 1st May.
The channel report said at least 1,264 applications for new petrol pumps in all districts have been pending for a long time.
As per the channel report, the establishment of new petrol pumps will create thousands of employment opportunities for the youth. On average, 30 to 35 people will get employment at each petrol pump and more than 30 thousand people will get jobs.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed the authorities to ensure transparency in the issuance of NOCs for the new filling stations as adopting transparency in the issuance of NOCs will increase citizens' trust in the government.
Mohsin Naqvi also ordered that all the NOCs of petrol pumps should be issued by fulfilling the legal requirements.
