Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub on Tuesday claimed the government, instead of providing relief to the masses, was targeting PTI leadership, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Omar Ayub claimed that the price of roti and naan was not being decreased despite the government’s lofty claims.

He said after the government increased the prices of oil, a new tsunami of inflation would hit the poor. PTI leader also claimed that the pre-poll rigging started ahead of the by-elections.

PTI leader said all cases registered against PTI leadership were politically motivated, he claimed that PTI founder and Shah Mahmood Qureshi will soon get relief in the Cipher case.

He said PTI was committed to promoting the rule of law in the country. Speaking about the Iran-Israel conflict, Ayub said: “No policy statement has been issued in connection with the Iran-Israel conflict.” Regarding the arrival of the Saudi delegation to Pakistan, Omar Ayub said: “We welcome a Saudi delegation to Pakistan.” Omar Ayub lamented that the masses were facing hardships due to unemployment.

PTI leader Barrister Gohar said that the PTI founder will soon get bail in all cases which are politically motivated, however, Imran Khan's bail will not be the result of any deal with the Establishment. He hoped that the courts would provide relief to the PTI founder in April. All know that cases against Imran Khan were very weak.

He claimed that PTI would stage protest demonstrations against alleged rigging in general elections. About meeting with PTI founder, Gohar said the meeting was arranged in a cabin made of glass.

Meanwhile, another PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat on the occasion claimed that PTI would accept the reconciliation offer provided it was handed over its stolen mandate. He said PTI will not talk to dacoits.
