Pakistan and UK mull partnership in aviation projects

Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) are considering a partnership in aviation projects following a high-level meeting between officials from both sides, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

According to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), a senior delegation from the British High Commission (BHC) met Director General PAA, Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

The talks focused on strengthening ties in the aviation sector and exploring joint development initiatives.

The two-member British delegation was led by Tom Bridge, Deputy Head of Mission at the British High Commission in Karachi.

Officials said the meeting provided an opportunity to review prospects for collaboration in various aviation-related projects.

The PAA confirmed that detailed discussions were held on enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, particularly in the development of aviation infrastructure and related services.

As per the TV channel report, both sides examined a range of possible projects where partnership could be established.

Deputy Director General Works and Development at the PAA, Engineer Sameer Saeed, was also present during the meeting.
