Doctors have resumed the treatment of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in London. 

On Saturday, Sharif visited his doctor, discussed his health condition with him and scheduled his future meetings with him. Also on Saturday, doctors collected samples of Sharif’s blood for some tests. Reports of these tests are expected next week. Doctors would make a decision on the basis of these reports whether or not Sharif needs a surgery. 

Sharif’s medical treatment was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic in the United Kingdom. However, doctors have now resumed his treatment after a fall in coronavirus infections in the country.
