The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government Sunday increased the prices of Diesel and Kerosene Oil.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the government kept unchanged prices of Petrol and High-Speed Diesel.

The price of Kerosene Oil increased by 81 paisa for the next 15 days. The finance ministry took the decision of increasing the prices of petroleum products after consultations with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Yesterday, The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended Rs2.50 per litre increase in the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD), 50 paisa per litre Petrol, Rs1 per littre in Light Diesel Oil and Kerosene Oil. The new prices will take effect from August 16 (Monday).
