President Arif Alvi has conferred Hilal-e-Imtiaz to Patron-in-Chief of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) Dr Gohar Ejaz for his philanthropic services.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, President Alvi conferred him the Pakistan civil awards on the occasion of the 75th diamond jubilee anniversary of the country. The investiture ceremony of this award will take place on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2023.
The government of Pakistan has acknowledged the philanthropic services of Dr Gohar Ejaz to provide improved educational and health facilities to Pakistanis.
Dr Gohar Ejaz is a prominent industrialist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He has worked hard for the improvement of the textile sector of Pakistan. 
In 2011, he has also received the highest civilian award, Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his services to the business sector of Pakistan.
He established a state-of-the-art dialysis centre at Jinnah Hospital Lahore in 2006 that was comprising 56 dialyses machines with a capacity to conduct 50,000 dialyses per year.
In 2018, with the help of the Gohar Ejaz Foundation, the Lahore Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS) as a welfare trust was established. The Gohar Ejaz Foundation provide free medicines and test to hepatitis patients in Lahore.
The foundation also provides scholarships to the students under the name of the National Outreach Program.
Dr Gohar Ejaz is Chairman of the Board of Management of the Jinnah Hospital. APTMA has congratulated Dr Gohar Ejaz for his achievement in a tweet.

On Tuesday, Dr Gohar Ejaz visited Jinnah Hospital and participated in a ceremony on the completion of free-of-cost hip and knee replacement surgery for 1000 patients.
Allama Iqbal Medical College (AIMC) Principal Professor Nadeem Hafeez Butt also accompanied him while Head of Orthopedic Surgery Prof Tahseen Riaz briefed the ceremony about the operations.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr Gohar Ejaz said they will evaluate the one-year performance of all departments of the hospital as they have a mission to make medical facilities of international standard.
He paid tribute to Professor Tahshen for his successful operations. MS Dr Yahya, Dr Shabbir Chaudhry, Dr Akmal and other doctors were also present on this occasion.
