Shehzad Akbar’s name placed on ECL, can be arrested on return

Federal Interior Ministry has placed the name of a former advisor to ex-premier Shehzad Akbar on the Exist Control List (ECL) to arrest him on his return to Pakistan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given approval to 10 names including Shehzad Akbar and Barrister Zia-ul-Mustafa Naseem to place in the ECL on Tuesday.
For the cabinet approval, two out of 10 were named by NAB, while the names of the other eight people were put on the recommendation of security agencies.
Shahzad Akbar is out of the country nowadays, sources said that if he is wanted in a case, he can be arrested on his return to Pakistan.
The names of two people involved in the case of payment of 50 million pounds to Bahria Town from the UK National Crime Agency have also been placed in the ECL.
