Khawar Bukhari, Ejaz Bukhari of Attock quit PTI

Former provincial minister Yawar Bukhari's brother and the focal person of PTI Khawar Bukhari and former PTI MPA Syed Ejaz Bukhari announced parting ways with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a press conference held in Attock on Tuesday, denouncing the events of May 9, they underscored their stance on the matter by reiterating their strong disapproval of the use of violence within political realms. They affirmed their unwavering belief in the peaceful conduct of politics and emphasized that resorting to violence is not a viable or acceptable approach. They said that violence is prohibited in accordance with Shariah and the country’s law and violators should be punished severely. Syed Khawar Bukhari is also a cousin of Zulfi Bukhari while Syed Ejaz Bukhari is the father-in-law of former minister Yawar Bukhari.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad General Secretary Sajid Mehmood Kayani also announced to leave the party. He announced to quit PTI in a short press conference held at National Press Club Islamabad on Tuesday.
