Three children including two girl beggars were crushed to death in separate road accidents in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The first incident took place inside the underpass in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi, where two girls said to be beggars, were badly hit by a speedy Honda Civic car.

Sharea Faisal SHO Iftikhar Arain said that the girls were crossing the underpass when the car struck them.

The vehicle went out of control and overturned after hitting a wall. Both girls were taken to a nearby private hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.

The bodies were later shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.

The SHO said the car driver, Raja Ibrahim Mansoor, 23, was also injured in the accident and taken to the same hospital for treatment.

He added that the car was badly damaged in the crash. The identities of the girls' heirs are still unknown.

In the second incident, a four-year-old boy was crushed to death while waiting for his mother outside his home in Karachi.

The incident took place in Orangi Town Sector 11.5 of Karachi. The ill-fated boy was the youngest among his three brothers and sisters.

Local residents said that the mother of the boy was working as a domestic worker in different houses. The mother said that she has to work as a domestic worker as her husband is a drug addict.

She demanded that the relevant authorities provide her justice. CCTV footage also surfaced on the social media about the incident. The driver of the water tanker escaped from the scene.

Later, the police took custody of the water tanker and started an investigation.
