Sh Rasheed’s Lal Haveli gets extra security

Punjab government has directed to the police to enhance the security of newly-appointed Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed and his residence in Rawalpindi – the famous Lal Haveli, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
The police and other law enforcement agencies have also conducted a search operation in the area adjacent to the Lal Haveli and also investigated the suspicious persons there.
According to the details, the security around the Lal Haveli has been increased manifold and no one would be allowed to enter the Haveli without searching.
The sources said the security officials in plain clothes have also been deployed in the adjacent areas of the Interior Minister’s residence and a walkthrough gate would also be installed at the entrance of the Lal Haveli.
The police and other security agencies officials also visited the Lal Haveli and briefed Sheikh Rasheed’s nephew MNA Sheikh Rashid regarding the security measures taken in the light of the Punjab government’s directions.
