The seventh anniversary of the terrorist attack on Army Public School Peshawar was observed Thursday and Prime Minister Imran Khan, opposition leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of APS tragedy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Imran Khan tweeted, “Dec 16, 2014, terrorists attacked & martyred over 140 people including 132 children in APS, Peshawar. Pak has successfully defeated terrorism. I reiterate we will never let down the survivors & parents of our martyred children. There is zero tolerance for violence & those using it as a tool.”

Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his message on the seventh anniversary of Army Public School's tragic incident, has urged the nation to stay firmly united against the elements trying to spread discord and prejudice on sectarian, religious and ethnic lines.
The Prime Minister said the nation should identify these elements in their ranks and help the state in eradicating them.
Imran Khan said time has proved that terrorism has no religion or nation rather it is a cowardly mindset that can even use children to fulfill their sordid designs.
Imran Khan said the sacrifices of martyrs of Army Public School have not gone in vain. He said following this despicable incident, the Pakistani nation got united and confronted the menace with firm resolve. He said under the National Action Plan, the enemy was targeted and eliminated in their dens.
As many as 147 people, including students and teachers were martyred in the seven TTP terrorist attack on this day in 2014.
At the time of the incident, the Army Public School held more than 1,000 staff members and students; many of the pupils were children of military personnel.

PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in his message on the APS incident paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of the APS. He said the state will remain indebted until conspirers, planners and killers of APS students would not be held accountable and given exemplary punishments.
AAZ said security personnel were still being martyred as the National Action Plan has not been fully implemented.
AAZ said the state has no right to give amnesty to those who killed innocent souls and children.
PPP leader and former president said that state-level negotiations with terrorists shows the weakness of the state.
Asif Ali Zardari paid to the security personnel and officers and soldiers who laid down their lives while defending the motherland.
AAZ promised with the survivors and victims of the APS to bring the conspirators and attackers of the horrific APS incident under the law.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also paid tributes to the martyrs of the APS and expressed solidarity with the APS survivors.
Bilawal said the nation was still waiting for justice in the APS tragedy. PPP leader vowed to raise the voice for the terrorism-hit people.
