Special ceremonies will be held to show solidarity with the military school massacre victims. Quran Khani will be held for the departed souls while homage will be paid to fallen heroes
December 16 is the darkest day in the history of Pakistan. On December 16 1971, the Fall of Dhaka bifurcated Pakistan while on December 16, 2014, a group of terrorists stormed the APS in Peshawar and claimed 141 lives.
In the deadliest terror attack in the country’s history, 131 schoolchildren and 10 other people were martyred. The attack shocked the entire nation while the world leaders too expressed solidarity with Pakistan and condemned the brutal attack.
The commander of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Umer Mansoor alias Umer Narae, claimed responsibility for the APS carnage. Authorities stepped up anti-terrorist combat and launched an operation against terrorists that broke the backbone of the militants.
The military and civil leadership reiterated the resolve to take the war on terror to a logical end.
