The government has taken back the portfolio of Accountability and Interior from Special Assistant to Prime Minister Irfan Qadir, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.

Instead, Irfan Qadir has been given the portfolio of Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Legal Reforms.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the appointment of Irfan Qadir as Special Assistant on Legal Reforms.

The Cabinet Division will soon issue an official notification of Irfan Qadir's new portfolio.

The position of Special Assistant Irfan Qadir will be equal to that of the Federal Minister.
