Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto has said despite the tension on the Pak-Afghan border, Pakistan will continue negotiations with the Taliban government in Afghanistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
“In fact, terrorism in Pakistan was supported from abroad. Steps must be taken to stop financial support and training of terrorists,” the foreign minister said during a press conference in New York.
He added "Foreign elements are active to create instability in Balochistan. Terrorist elements are getting support from our neighbouring country.
"Chinese citizens were targeted in Karachi. The elements responsible for terrorism in Pakistan should be brought to the book. There is irrefutable evidence of India's involvement in the Johar Town blast in Lahore."
“I want to tell India that Osama bin Laden has been killed while the butcher of Gujarat is still alive," she maintained.
The FM continued: “After 2001, most of the victims of terrorism were Muslims. It is not right to blame Muslim countries for terrorism. Associating terrorism with Islam is not correct at all.
"Benazir Bhutto Shaheed continued the democratic struggle despite the threats. We are proud of our achievements against terrorism
“FATF appreciates the measures we adopted to bar the financial support of terrorists. Concrete measures were taken under the national action plan for counter-terrorism.
"Pakistan's sacrifices against terrorism are unprecedented. Joint efforts are required for achieving the sustainable development goals.”
