Another India-linked disinformation campaign targeting Balochistan exposed

Another Indian disinformation campaign targeting Pakistan on the social media platform X was exposed, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, an X account involved in anti-Pakistan propaganda was being operated from India and used to spread misleading narratives related to Balochistan.

The account operating under the name “Page 3 News Thai” was found to be using a fake identity while repeatedly posting messages under the name of Mir Yar Baloch.

The content included fabricated claims, historical distortions and material described as promoting an Indian agenda.

Sources said the account systematically exploited Baloch identity as part of an organised effort to amplify extremist narratives and misinformation.

A recently circulated lengthy post from the account, aimed at international audiences, was described as part of a broader propaganda campaign allegedly prepared by India’s intelligence agency, RAW.

It was also exposed that technical data from the social media platform indicated the account was being operated from India through a Thailand-based virtual private network.

Officials said the findings reinforced long-standing concerns regarding foreign-backed disinformation efforts focused on Balochistan.
