Court starts procedure for declaring KP CM Afridi, others POs

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Tuesday set in motion the process of declaring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi, KP Minister Meena Khan, Shafiullah Jan and Iqbal Afridi proclaimed offenders (POs) after they failed to appear in the court despite having summoned several times, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case had been registered against Afridi and others at Ramna police station in connection with the November 26 protest.
Earlier, the court had also started the procedure for declaring Afridi and others POs in a case registered at Noon Police Station.
