Man and son shot dead by unknown assailants in Nowshera

A father and son were shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Tarujabba area of Pabbi tehsil in Nowshera on Tuesday, police said. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the incident.

According to police officials, the victims were killed on the spot when unknown gunmen opened fire. The deceased were identified as Khalid and his father, Hashim Gul, residents of Akbarpora Zakhai.

Authorities said the motive behind the attack could not be determined immediately, and investigations were underway to trace the suspects. Police added that multiple possibilities were being examined, including personal enmity.

The bodies were shifted to Mian Rashid Hospital in Pabbi for post-mortem examinations, after which they would be handed over to the family.

Police have registered a case and launched a search operation to arrest those responsible for the double murder.
