Private Hajj operators directed to deposit full pilgrim costs under Hajj policy 2026

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued clear directives to private Hajj operators regarding the deposit of pilgrims’ expenses into Saudi e-wallet accounts under the Hajj Policy 2026, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.

According to an official notification, all private Hajj operators have been instructed to deposit 100 per cent of their approved Hajj package amounts into the relevant Saudi accounts by December 31.

Hajj authorities further stated that the deadline for booking Mina land and plot services is December 21.

Operators have been warned that failure to meet this deadline could jeopardise service arrangements for pilgrims.

The notification made it clear that in case of non-payment or delay, full responsibility for the affected pilgrims would rest with the concerned private Hajj operator.

Authorities have also issued a stern warning that operators failing to comply with the payment schedule will face strict action, including cancellation of their Hajj licence and a complete ban on operating in future Hajj seasons.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said the warning has been formally conveyed to all private Hajj operators, emphasising that compliance with the policy is mandatory to safeguard pilgrims’ interests and ensure efficient management of Hajj operations for 2026.
