A federal cabinet meeting aimed at discussing 12-piont agenda will be presided by PM Imran Khan on Tuesday at PM House Islamabad.

The meeting will receive a briefing on the regulatory bill on pulses, besides discussing the gas and electricity prices.

The cabinet is expected to approve the appointment of Pakistan Nursing Council members, the establishment of a child commission and the establishment of the permanent secretariat of the Council of Common Interest (CCI).

The CII secretariat will be established in the Ministry of Interprovincial Coordination.

The cabinet meeting is also likely to approve a one-time exception for the import of pesticides from India, and appointment of the managing director of the Pakistan Petroleum Development Corporation.

The meeting will also discuss the issues relating to Pakistan Steel Mills Corporation.

Khalid Maqbool Saddiqui of MQM-P, a disgruntled ally of the government, will also be attending the meeting.
