CDA serves notices on F11 flat owners over bylaws' violatation

The Capital Development Authority (CDA’s) Building Control Wing served notices on the owners of F11 economy class flats.

The notices issued to owners of Safa Heights, Golden Heights, Tariq Heights, Sughra Tower, Karakoram Tower and Abu Dhabi Tower.

According to CDA, owners of these flats violated building bylaws by building flats in the basement of these buildings. The CDA bylaws, however, bind the owners to reserve basements for car parking.

In a recent survey by the authority, illegal construction of flats was detected in the basements of these flats.

The CDA, through the notices, directed the owners to check the illegal construction immediately.
