Govt to brief relatives of Pakistanis stranded in China on Wednesday

Ministry for overseas Pakistanis will hold a briefing for the relatives of students and other Pakistanis stranded in China on Wednesday (Feb 19).

The briefing will be held at Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) Girls College Islamabad, officials said.

The ministry said that it will try to allay the fears of the citizens, especially the parents of the students who are stuck in China amid the coronavirus outbreak, by updating them on the latest situation.

It expressed the hope that access to factual information will help reduce their worries about their loved ones.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Special Assistant to PM on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari and SAPM on National Health Services Zafar Mirza will be present on the occasion.
