Mahira Khan becomes Peshawar Zalmi’s brand ambassador for third time

Superstar Mahira Khan has become the brand ambassador for Peshawar Zalmi team in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six. This would be the actress’ third stint with the Zalmi team.

Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi announced this news in a tweet posted on Tuesday and welcomed her again into the Peshawar Zalmi family.
Mahira Khan had already been served Peshawar Zalmi’s brand ambassador in PDL Season 3 and Season 4.
While, famous Pakistani singer Atif Aslam will perform in the opening ceremony of PSL Season Zix scheduled to take place at National Stadium Karachi on February 20.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the news in a press release. Alongside Atif, many other artists will be part of the event including rap-singer Imran Khan, actress Humaima Malick and HBL PSL 6 anthem singers: Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and Young Stunners.
“Internationally acclaimed singer Atif Aslam will be making his first appearance in the HBL PSL opening ceremony,” PCB statement said. “Along with Atif, renowned rap artist Imran Khan will also be marking his debut at the HBL PSL stage.”
The opening ceremony is an annual tradition to launch country’s premier T20 league every season since its inception. The first four ceremonies were held at the Dubai International Stadium while the 2020 opening ceremony was staged at the National Stadium Karachi, and the same venue will play host to the 2021 ceremony.
“This year’s opening ceremony promises to be really exciting especially with the state-of-the-art technology being used to create this experience for Pakistani fans,” PCB Director Commercial Babar Hamid said.
