Police on Wednesday arrested 33 more suspects nominated in the Mian Channu lynching case, besides nabbing five key suspects with the help of video footages, thus making the total number of arrests 38, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

According to the Punjab police spokesman, 38 key suspects have so far been arrested seven of whom were arrested yesterday.

He said there were as many as 119 suspects in police custody whose role in the lynching incident was being determined.

It is to be noted that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Inspector General of Police (IGP) have tasked the Multan regional police officer (RPO) and the Khanewal district police officer (DPO) to arrest all key suspects nominated in the case.
