The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has introduced an E-Visit App in Abbottabad Jail, allowing prisoners to meet their relatives through video calls.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, with this digital innovation, prisoners will now be able to stay connected with their families without physical visits.
The E-Visit App aims to reduce the emotional distance between inmates and their loved ones by providing a secure and convenient communication platform.
The initiative is expected to enhance the well-being of prisoners and modernise the prison system in the province.
