Online kite mafia exposed in Rawalpindi; two smugglers arrested

The CIA Rawalpindi and Banni Police conducted a joint operation, arresting two online kite suppliers, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.

The suspects, identified as Shakir and Sabir, were caught supplying kites and spools of string from Peshawar to Rawalpindi and other cities via online orders.

According to the channel report, during the raid, police seized 450 kites and 4 spools of string from their possession of accused kite smugglers.

City Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani stated that the crackdown on kite sellers, including online suppliers, will continue to prevent illegal kite-flying.
