Terrorists attack Levies post in Kalat, one martyred, two injured
Attackers escape after retaliation: PM Shehbaz and Mohsin Naqvi condemns attack
One Levies personnel, Ali Nawaz, embraced martyrdom, and two others were seriously injured when unidentified assailants attacked a Levies post in the Toghar Chappar area of Kalat, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
According to the report, the attackers fled after the Levies force retaliated, while a heavy contingent of security forces reached the area to launch a search operation.
The injured personnel were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) in Kalat for treatment.
PM condemns terrorists attack
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned terrorists attack on Levies post in Kalat.
In his condolence message to family of the martyred Levi personnel, Prime Minister paid glowing tributes to the sacrifices rendered by the martyred Levi personnel Ali Nawaz.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grand courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with courage.
Interior Minister condemns attack
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Levies post and expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyred personnel, Ali Nawaz.
He hailed Ali Nawaz's sacrifice for the defence of the motherland, calling it a noble cause.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured personnel and lauded the bravery of Levies forces, stating that their swift response forced the terrorists to flee.
Mohsin Naqvi reaffirmed that terrorists will not succeed in their nefarious designs, emphasising that the entire nation stands united against terrorism.
