Retired doctor goes berserk over bribe demand

A retired doctor vandalized Sindh Healthcare Commission’s building in Karachi on Friday afternoon in protest against what he alleged a bribe was demanded from him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Nawaz Malah, who served at a government hospital and is now doing private practice, reportedly kicked and smashed the building’s main gate. When the security guards tried to stop him, he shouted abuses at them.

Carrying a rod in his hand, Nawaz Malah freely roamed around in the building.

When the other staff tried to stop him, he also misbehaved with them.

Healthcare Commission’s security guards filed a written complaint against the doctor with the Saddar police station.
