Lead Male Actor of the controversial film ‘Joy Land’ Ali Junejo Monday garnered the award for “Best International Actor” at the Palm Springs International Film Festival representing Pakistan in the awards.

Movies from across the globe are displayed at Film Festival and this time, the Pakistani film Joy land was also displayed and nominated.

The talented newbie outstood all others in the list of his nomination and bagged the Second biggest award of the Palm Springs Film Festival for his flawless work in the film. Reportedly, Junejo was not a part of the festival. Although, he thanked the organizers for the award and lauded his coworkers Rasti Farooq, Alina Khan and director and producer Saim Sadiq and Sarmad Sultan Khoosat along with the film crew in a video message. He called Joy land his “child” and said that the team helped and supported him a lot in enhancing his character.

Palm Springs’ Best International Actor is the second award Ali Junejo has bagged. Earlier, in November 2022 last, he was awarded the Best Actor Award at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival.
