Lawyer shot dead in Rawalpindi

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a lawyer in Rawalpindi on Monday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sheikh Imran Advocate was on his way back home after dropping his children to school when he was targeted by the gunmen in the garrison city’s Dheri area of Ahsanabad locality.
The attackers riding a motorcycle sprayed advocate’s car with bullets and escaped from the scene. The lawyer succumbed to his wounds before shifted to hospital.
Civil Lines Police Station sent the dead body to hospital for autopsy and launched an investigation into the murder.
The police said the incident looked like a target killing.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Nasir Mahmood took notice of the lawyer’s murder and sought a report from the City Police Officer.
