Federal Defence Minister Kh Asif has said political instability hit the national economy hard, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Talking to the media, the PML-N leader said PM Shehbaz Sharif has no threat from Imran Khan’s plans.

PM Shehbaz has been enjoying the support of the majority of the members in the National Assembly, he said, adding that the PDM won't waste time in counting and buying votes as the PTI alliance did in Punjab to earn the vote of confidence.

Responding to a query about Imran's return to the assembly as caretaker, he said the matter will be taken up after he make comeback.

About the union of PTI-PML-Q, he said dacoits and looters have joined hands.
