Putin says Russia committed to enhance cooperation with Pakistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to maintaining close and mutually beneficial relations with Pakistan, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

 According to a statement shared by the Russian Embassy in Pakistan on the social media platform X, President Putin highlighted the importance of Russia–Pakistan relations and ongoing collaboration between the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion of receiving documents from the Pakistan Ambassador to Moscow, Faisal Timizi, the Russian President added,  "We maintain close cooperation with Pakistan, a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the largest regional organisation in terms of economic, technological, and human potential.

He emphasized that Russia-Pakistan relations are genuinely mutually beneficial." 

“We continue close cooperation with Pakistan,” President Putin said. 

He described the SCO as the region’s largest organisation in terms of economic, technological, and human potential, underscoring its growing importance in regional and global affairs.

President Putin stated that Russia–Pakistan relations are truly mutually beneficial, reflecting shared interests and expanding engagement across various sectors.

The Russian Embassy also released a photograph of President Vladimir Putin with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, further highlighting diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
